Design for emergency response: ShelterBox – a master thesis

Graduate student Christoffer Sæther Sørensen from the Department of Product Design has accepted the challenge of designing robust and ergonomic concepts for ShelterBox for his master thesis project. He will write a paper about his approach and the goal is that he will develop a protype or a conseptual model for testing by the end of this year. With help from ShelterBox Norway we hope to achieve a user friendly concept that will easen the work of the volunteers and perhaps make sure that the boxes reach the beneficiary even faster than today.
